Shell Nigeria appoints Elohor Aiboni first female MD

SHELL Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCO) has appointed Elohor Aiboni as its Managing Director, making her the first female MD.

This was made public by a source in the company yesterday. The news was also confirmed by one of the aides of President Buhari, Lauretta Onochie, on Social media, via her Twitter handle.

She tweeted, “Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company has appointed Eloho Aiboni, as its first-ever female Managing Director/Chief Executive.

We believe every woman can do more when she recognises her innate potentials, capabilities.”

Prior to her appointment, Aiboni was the Shell’s first Bonga Asset Operations Manager.

She has over 13 years experience in the Oil and Gas sector, having worked on Project to Asset Handover, Operations of Oil and Gas facilities with HSE, cross-discipline, cross-functional units and multi-operating unit exposure with great interpersonal skills.
