A representative for Kudan Constituency who served in the Kaduna State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2019, Alhaji Danlami Dan Inna Likoro, has passed away.
According to a family member who confirmed the incident, the former lawmaker had been busy all day handing out his religious alms (Zakkat) before passing on Sunday night following a brief illness.
Likoro was the PDP candidate running for the same seat from the same district till he passed away.
The PDP candidate for governor of Kaduna state, Alhaji Isah Ashiru Kusan, sent a message of sympathy through his media assistant, Shuaibu Gimi. He called the former legislator a seasoned politician who made a significant contribution to the growth of the party and Kaduna State.
Ashiru remarked that the late member was a dedicated party supporter and a strong proponent of democratic ideas who passed away just when the party desperately needed his experience and contributions.
He expressed sympathy to the family and the PDP group particularly the Kudan LG branch in Kaduna State.
