BODY, Blue and Beyond opened with a big bang yesterday. Thanks to the diplomatic community in Lagos -The Publicity Diplomacy Officer of the US Consulate, Julie Mckay declared the show open: the wife of the German Consulate, Dr Imke Borner was also present: Brenda Fashugba, Harry Kesiena and British Shittabay of British Council staff also attended. Mr Wole Abegunde, Director, Meristem Securities declared the fashion show open.

I was glad to see my nursery, primary, secondary schools and University classmates — some flew into Nigeria to be at the show! My dear friend Magou Amede from the Republic of Benin; several amazing friends, colleagues and my fabulous students were also present.
The exhibition opened with a performance, Body Blue. Thanks to the performers who joined me-Mitchel Adegbola and Taiye Erewele. The video is available to watch at the exhibition. The models at the fashion show were also phenomenal. The link to the 360 virtual tour is here
