THE Rivers State Police Command has executed 2baba, the accused gang boss suspected of masterminding the murder of Ahoada Police Division’s late DPO, Bako Angbashim.
Gift Okpara, also known as 2baba, who is believed to be the leader of the deadly Icelanders cult group responsible for the deaths of DPO Angbashim and numerous others has been the target of a coordinated manhunt by police and other security services.
The situation took an intriguing turn when the police confirmed 2baba’s death after a gun duel with his gang.
This information was revealed in a statement signed by the Command’s PRO, Grace Iringe-Koko, which detailed the manhunt operation in chronological order.

The police said 2baba fled but was subsequently confirmed dead from his injuries, and efforts are on to recover his remains.
