Green Access is a talent discovery platform by Lagos Fashion Week and has a vision to encourage designers to create social, economic and environmentally sustainable fashion brands.
With responsibility at its core, Green Access aims to inspire young creatives to consciously begin to explore sustainable ways of achieving their creative goals while simultaneously discovering new talent.
This years’ virtual and physical workshops will be hosted by Green Access and facilitated by stakeholders who will discuss a range of topics that addresses the growing demand for more traceable and transparent practices, as well as the need for fashion to be designed with the thought of resource efficiency, biodegradability and recyclability in mind.
Following the competition, the top 5 Green Access finalists will be commissioned to design a collection that will be showcased on the Lagos Fashion Week Runway in October 2021.
