UNIJOS enrols 67 foreign students for current academic session

The University of Jos (UNIJOS) has enrolled sixty-seven foreign students from thirteen African countries into the institution for the 2024/2025 academic session.

A statement by the school’s Senior Deputy Registrar (Information and Publications) Abdullahi Abdullahi said the newly admitted students are from Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Niger Republic, Cameroon, and South Sudan.

Others who are poised to further their studies in the university are from Sierra Leone, Gambia, Togo, and Zimbabwe.

The students are to pursue their studies in undergraduate programmes in medicine and surgery, economics, history, and international studies as well as computer science.

Other courses of study include law, criminology and security studies, nursing, accounting, business management, and pharmacy.
