My son has boils

My 4-month-old son has not been sleeping well for some days. He has boils in about four different places at the back of his head. Although I have pressed the boils with the hope of getting out the pus, he is still crying and not sucking her mother’s breast properly. Kindly advise me on what to do.

Answer: It is obvious that the boils are the cause of your son’s inability to sleep well. Since boils are signs of an infection, the best approach would have been for your son to be treated with antibiotics. By pressing the boils, you have only added to his discomfort. My advice will be for you to stop pressing the boils and let your son see a doctor for a prescription for an appropriate antibiotic.

I’m 36, diagnosed with fatty liver grade 2 with enlarged liver size of 17.8 mm. What’s the best way to deal with this? And is this situation so much serious?

Answer:  Limit your daily calorie intake to about 1,400 max, eat no refined carbs. (White flour, pasta, sweets, breads, etc). If you are overweight, reduce your weight to ideal for height. Invest in a nutritionist, invest in whatever you need to do. Do not buy anything off the internet at all. Use MD supervision only for diet and weight monitoring.

Do not drink alcohol at all, period. End of discussion.

Do not take tylenol.

Completely avoid all “dietary supplements” that are not prescribed. A surprising number of them can damage your liver.

Drink 4 cups of coffee every morning. Unless there is a medical reason not to do so, but that would be very rare.

The fatty liver can become full on cirrhosis and can cause you to need a liver transplant. Turn it around by changing your diet now.
