Report: Man United battle Real Madrid for Chukwueze

SUPER Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze is the subject of interest of English club Manchester United, reports on Tuesday have claimed.

According to La Razon, the Red Devils are keen on the Nigerian to give them another option on the wings.

The Super Eagles star is also said to be seen as an alternative to Jadon Sancho who United wanted to buy from Borussia Dortmund at the beginning of the season.

The German club insisted on a €120m price tag for the England winger and the deal went cold.Chukwueze is a left-footed right winger with impressive dribbling skills, the kind of player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would fancy.

The 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup winner with the Golden Eaglets has become a regular since breaking through to the Villarreal senior squad in the 2018/2018 season season.

It has also been reported that Real Madrid are also interested in Chukwueze, while Liverpool have been mentioned too.

Chukwueze was recently quoted to have told Tribalfootball.com: “Playing in England is still an ambition for me.”I need to keep on working hard and to keep improving. I really want to play in England. I think so”.

Chukwueze has contributed one goal and three assists in 11 appearances in all competitions for Villarreal this season.
