OGUN: Many feared dead as tanker explodes in Abeokuta

MANY people have reportedly died and several vehicles burnt after a tanker exploded in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The incident occurred around 8:15 am today on the Presidential Boulevard Road around Guaranty Trust Bank, opposite Lawson Group School, Kuto, Abeokuta.

The tanker was reportedly carrying 33,000 litres of petrol.

Officials of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps were seen at the scene controlling the traffic.
