EDO: Ex-minister of information, Momoh, to be buried on Feb. 11 – family

THE family of former Minister of Information, Prince Tony Momoh, has said the remains of the late journalist will be buried on February 11, 2021.

This was contained in a statement released by Abdulrasheed Momoh, the first child of the deceased on behalf of the family.

According to the statement, Abdulrasheed hailed President Buhari, state governors, ministers, the media, and all Nigerians for their condolence messages.

Momoh, who served as minister under the military administration of General Ibrahim Babangida, breathed his last on Monday at the age of 82.

The statement also made known the full burial arrangement of the former National Chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).

The statement, “The Family of the late Prince Tony Momoh wishes to thank the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, the State Governors, the Ministers, the media and all Nigerians for their condolence messages and prayers on the transition of our Father,” the family said.

“We deeply appreciate this love at this trying moment.”

Time: Arrival 2:00pm (Gate closes at 4:00pm)
