Stanbic IBTC appoints 11 executives across the group

STANBIC IBTC Holdings Plc has announced the appointment of 11 key executives across the group, effective February 2, 2021.

This appointment was made known through a press release on the website of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and signed by the company’s secretary, Chidi Okezie.

The group stated that the appointments are in line with the corporate governance structure and succession plan of the organisation; and that it followed the receipt of all required regulatory approvals.

According to the release, the new appointments cut across the Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc and its subsidiary, Stanbic IBTC Nominees, Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, Stanbic IBTC Asset Management, Stanbic IBTC Insurance Brokers, and even the Stanbic IBTC Insurance.

Eric Fajemisin was appointed Executive Director, Corporate and Transactional Banking, Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, after he had served as the Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Pension.

Olumide Oyetan was assigned the post of Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers.

While Dare Otiloju was appointed Executive Director, Investment Management, Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, Babatunde Majiyagbe was assigned the position of Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Nominees, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc.

Busola Jejelowo was also appointed by the Group’s asset management subsidiary as Executive Director, Investments, Stanbic IBTC Asset Management. Wunmi Ehis-Uzemabor was similarly appointed as Executive Director, Operations at Stanbic IBTC Asset Management.

The trustees and insurance brokerage subsidiaries of the Group assigned Emi-Agaba-Oloja the post of Executive Director, Stanbic IBTC Trustees, while Ibiyemi Mezu was appointed as Executive Director, Stanbic IBTC Insurance Brokers.

Akinjide Orimolade was assigned the position of Chief Executive, Stanbic Insurance; Sakeenat Bakare, Executive Director, Business Development at Stanbic IBTC Insurance, with Dunny Semwayo as Executive Director, Technical, at Stanbic IBTC Insurance the Group’s newly licensed subsidiary.
