Nigerian singer, Rotimi, stars in Eddie Murphy’s Coming 2 America

US-BASED singer and actor, Rotimi Akinosho, popularly known as Rotimi, whose 2017 hit single, Love Riddim dominated the airwaves will be starring in Eddie Murphy’s sequel Coming 2 America.

The movie is set to start streaming on Saturday March 6, on Amazon Prime

The entertainment star and model, who starred as Andre Coleman on the TV series Power, will be playing the additional character of Idi Izzi, brother to Imani (Venessa Bell Calloway) the betrothed wife that was rejected by Prince Hakeem (Eddie Murphy) in the original 1988 release, Coming To America.

Hollywood star, Wesley Snipes, will be playing the character of his father, General Izzi.

The Amazon Original directed by Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow, Dolemite is my Name) will feature a chunk of the original cast playing the older version of their roles.
