JIGAWA: Yusuf Kila, Gwaram rep, dies at 70

A MEMBER of the House of Representatives, Yusuf Kila, is dead.

Killa, until he breathed his last today, was representing Gwaram constituency in Jigawa.

 He was Chairman of the Committee on Customs and Excise while alive.

Kila, who was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, was said to have died at the age of 70.

The House Committee on Customs and Excise, which was grilling the Controller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Col. Hameed Ali (retd.), had to adjourn abruptly when the news filtered in.
