May D suffers burns as fire torches his apartment

SINGER and songwriter, May D, whose real name is Akinmayokun Awodumila, disclosed that fire raged in a section of his apartment and he actually suffered burns on his legs.

He posted photos of the injured legs on his Instagram Stories page.

“Hey Guys, please put me in your prayers. There was a fire incident in my house and my legs got burnt,” he wrote.

He is currently hospitalised and appeals to fans to pray for him.

May D is a popular singer and songwriter, formerly signed to now defunct P-Square’s record label.

Last year, he announced on his Twitter handle that he had been signed on with the Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).
