AFTER spending two days in the den of the kidnappers, Godwin Osakwe and his 17-year-old son have been released.
Osakwe and his son were abducted at the notorious Ahor Village Slope section of the Benin Bypass.
It was gathered that they were released this morning after paying N3m ransom.
“I can confirm that the father and son have been released and they have reunited with their family.” a source close to the family was quoted to have said.
Meanwhile, another abduction was reported in the state last night.A lecturer and two students were abducted by gunmen at the National Institute of Construction Technology, Uromi Edo State.
