Nigerian lawyer, ex-beauty queen, Helen Ajayi appointed global bank’s non-executive director

FORMER beauty queen and Nigerian lawyer, Helen Prest Ajayi, has been appointed as a non-Executive Director by an International company, Bank Nevis International Trust Services Ltd (BONITS).

The company had posted on its website, “Information regarding directors, officers, shareholders, and beneficial owners may have the nationality of any country and may be resident in any country.

“Directors and Officers are not required to be filed in the Nevis Registrar of Corporations and are not available to the public. However, such information on corporate records must be retained at the Registered Agent in order to fulfil AML/CFT Regulations.”

Reacting to the appointment, Mrs Ajayi wrote on her Instagram page: “I have long been an advocate for financial inclusion as I believe that lack of access to global financial opportunities is a major challenge for development and growth…

“I look forward to bringing my experience to bear to help the company fulfill its mission of enabling more people have access to global investments with greater global mobility.”

BONITS with offices in the Eastern Caribbean off the coast of Mexico and Venezuela, Dubai, West Africa and East Africa and affiliation to Bank of Nevis International Inc, specialises in Global Migration Investment. The company’s mission is to enable individuals to invest impactfully and provide asset protection while enhancing their global mobility through a second passport issued by St Kitts & Nevis Citizenship and to be the preferred provider of trust and company formation services.

Helen was raised in England. She attended the International School Ibadan for her advanced levels and Obafemi Awolowo University for her undergraduate studies in Law prior to her pageantry.

Prest-Ajayi had last year lost her husband, Dr Tosin Ajayi, who was buried last month.
