Former NFF Technical Director Laloko dies at 79

FORMER Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation, Kashimawo Laloko, is dead.

The youth football advocate passed away on Sunday, family members confirmed.

The late Director of the Pepsi Academy, Lagos was 76 and died after a brief illness.

He was the brains behind the popular academy which was founded in 1992 and produced players that went on to represent Nigeria at all levels.

He also worked as the coach of Gambia, and was outspoken and passionate about Nigerian football until his passing.

He will be buried according to Islamic rites on Tuesday in Abeokuta, Ogun State
