FCT: Protesting legislative aides beseige Gbajabiamila

THE Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, was hemmed in by protesting legislative aides today.

The legislative aides were registering their grievances over non-payment of their allowances when the number three citizen surfaced on the premises of the National Assembly.

The aides had earlier positioned themselves at strategic locations before blocking the Speaker whom they said has been feigning ignorance over their plight since 2019.

Having done with the Speaker, protesters made deft moves to get the attention of the Senate President, Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan.

They had yet to be attended to as of the time of this report.
