Nigeria slipping into anarchy, Rita Dominic cries out

POPULAR Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Rita Dominic has taken to social media to lament about the country’s high rate of insecurity in her Imo State home, and Nigeria in general.

The spate of insecurity over the past few months has been intense, with kidnapping and banditry being the order of the day.

Rita Dominic, who is obviously not pleased with the development, took to her official Twitter account, stating clearly that the country is slipping into anarchy.

According to her, elected leaders should work harder to stop the tension spreading around the country.

She wrote: ”I am afraid that we are watching Nigeria slip into anarchy. It is surreal. Our elected officials need to work harder to douse the tension in the country. We need peace to reign. Harassing and killing innocent citizens can never solve anything.”
