KADUNA: One killed, two injured as explosion rocks Badarawa

AN explosion yesterday in Kaduna North Local Government Area claimed the life of one person, leaving two others injured.

Confirming the incident, spokesperson of the State Police Command, ASP Muhammad Jalige, said that the incident occurred at about 4.30 p.m. in Badarawa area.

Jalige said after the incident, the victims were taken to Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital, Kaduna, for treatment, where one of them died.

Another one was treated and discharged while the third person was still receiving treatment, he said.

He disclosed that investigations had commenced and the outcome would be made public upon completion of the exercise.
