ON the day actor, producer, journalist, lawyer Richard Mofe Damijo, popularly known called RMD, celebrated his diamond jubilee, the gods of glitz and glamour came to town and ruled the heart of men.
Dateline: Sunday July 4. A huge cast of celebrities and dignitaries descended on Balmoral Hall of en Federal PAlace, Victoria Island, Lagos.
It was indeed a night of glitters and glamour as the leading stars of music, movies, fashion and allied industries as well as people of diverse professions and callings turned out in dazzling styles. Mostly, the women dazzled in sparkly accents and elaborate metallic draping; while the men adorned stylish tuxedo and impeccably tailored suits.
The celebrant, who with his delectable wife, Jumobi also sparkled in high taste launched his new book and perfume brand, Timeless. As he reminded his generously applauding guests, “I am a man in love with good smell…”
The star-studded shindig was graced by among other stars, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Ramsey Nouah, Sola Sobowale, Ini Edo, Shaffy Bello, Unuoma McDermont, Kate Henshaw, Darey, Korede Bello, Funke Akindele-Bello, JJC Skillz, Desmond Elliot, Uche Nnaji, Tayo Gabriels, Yomi Makun, Seyi Vodi, Evan Sakere, Kelechi Eke, Michelle Dede, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Mo Abudu, Toolz, Captain Demuren, Onyeka Onwenu and many other public figures.

The Show stopper
Actress Ufuoma Mcdermont stunned in a beautiful midnight metallic blue number. The long-sleeved dress, featured a sweetheart neckline, and a daringly high slit. She was totally adorable.

Ini Edo’s style has evolved over the years; she’s since becoming a fashion dynamo. One of our favourite Ini’s looks was on show on RMD’s day. The actress was spotted in an irresistible sided-slit metallic number.
Ebuka is a man who’s never under-dressed. He is a genuine menswear icon and has become a quintessential part of Nigeria’s fashion scene. The stylish lawyer, TV presenter and BBN host stepped out in metallic tux designed by Tinathan.

The celebrant, Richard never fails to wow us. He stepped out im two different looks: his first look was a black metallic tux by Maiatafo and lovely matching shoe by David Wej. His next appearance went epic; he rocked a traditional Niger Delta outfit, designed by MudiAfrica. He looked impeccable in his metallic tux: his look is a fusion of classic style and timeless glamour. He is the epitome of sharp sophistication.
In the same vein, his wife, Jumobi Adegbesan-Damijo look gorgeous sheer Bandora number, which was swarmed with gold crystal beads that flowed along the dress; with additional bead drops and an ombré dye-technique darkening the hem of the dress.
The Bellos
Funke Akindele-Bello was stunning-shly dripping in a rich black metallic number. Her custom dress was designed by xtrabrideslagos; styled by celebrity stylist and makeup artist, Medlin and Bimpe Onakoya. The beautiful high-slit dress was well embellished with feathers and sided coloured bead details. Her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, popularly known as Jjcskills, looked perfectly fit and stylish in a yellow tux.

Mercy Johnson-Okojie rocked a gold with a touch of red an blue embroidery detailed black dress designed by Zateemee and styled by styledbytimi.
Hubby Okojie gave us a simple look in a blue pant and a matching blazer.

Tolu Oniru-Demuren gladly gave us a simple daring sheer metallic number. Toolz who was also the celebrant birthday mate, really looked astonishingly in luxbybeeca dress.
