AHMED Musa has completed his move to Turkish club Fatih Karagumuruk.

The deal was sealed on Thursday after the Super Eagles captain passed his medical tests.

Musa joined the Turkish Super Lig club as a free agent after leaving Kano Pillars, whom he rejoined in April after months of inactivity.

The former Leicester striker signed a contract until 2023, Karagumuruk confirmed.

Musa, 28, will be playing in Turkey for the first time after his rollercoaster career has taken him to the Netherlands, Russia, England and Saudi Arabia since first leaving Kano Pillars in 2010.

The quick forward, who has 87 caps and 15 goals for Nigeria at senior level, won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations with the Super Eagles.

He also starred at the World Cup in 2014 and 2018, scoring four goals combined at the two to become Nigeria’s highest scorer at the global tournament.

Musa’s most successful stints in Europe have been with CSKA Moscow, for whom he made 94 goal contributions (61 goals and 33 assists) in 184 appearances over two spells.

Istanbul-based Fatih Karagumuruk finished eighth in the Turkish Super Lig last season.
