THE anticipated sequel to Kemi Adetiba’s 2018 blockbuster film, King of Boys, is set for release on August 27.
Titled ‘King of Boys: The Return of the King’, it will be released as a Seven-part Limited series on Netflix. This would be Netflix’s first original series out of Nigeria.
Actors like Reminisce and Ill Bliss, Osas Ighodaro, Akin Lewis, Keppy Ekpeyong will relive their roles while new additions will include Nse Ikpe-Etim, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Charly Boy, Deyemi Okanlawon and Efa Iwara.
On the new series, filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba on her Twitter page on Monday, July 26, wrote: “You can now confidently set your reminders and refresh your Netflix Accounts, KOB 2 is officially landing on August 27. No going back.”
She also took to her Instagram page to announce the news.
