LATE Sound Sultan’s brother, Dare Fasasi aka Baba Dee, has slammed the late musician’s friends calling them fake because they shunned his brother’s memorial event.
In a post shared on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, August 11, Baba Dee claimed most of those who used to parade themselves as Sound Sultan’s friends were nowhere to be found during the event held in memory of the musician who died last month.
Baba Dee, himself a popular Reggae Dancehall act, further claimed that the friends did not even call Sultan’s widow but were busy posting pictures and videos on social media.
“Fake friends, not a call to his wife, didn’t bother to attend his memorial event on a sit at home Saturday. Posting pictures and videos on social media. Your deaths shall also be used to generate social media content,” wrote Dare
Sound Sultan passed away at the age of 44 after battling throat cancer.
