THE former lawmaker representing Osun-West, Sen Ademola Adeleke, has returned to the country after a two-year academic study in the United States.
The ex-Osun governorship candidate had in May bagged a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at Atlanta Metropolitan State College, Georgia.
Daily Post reports that Adeleke is expected to declare his intention to contest for the 2022 governorship election in Osun State.
He is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Adeleke was defeated by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in 2018 after a rerun election.
The online newspaper reports that a section of the party in Osun favours Adeleke while those being led by the ousted chairman Olasoji Adagunodo prefer Akin Ogunbiyi to emerge governorship candidate.
