KELECHI Iheanacho made a key contribution to Leicester City’s fightback against Burnley on Saturday, setting up one of the goals.
The Super Eagles forward assisted his side’s second goal in the 85th minute as the Foxes came from behind twice to draw 2-2 at home to Burnley.
Jamie Vardy scored an own goal to give Burnley the lead in the 12th minute, and the same player made amends by bagging the equaliser in the 37th minute.
Burnley took the lead again three minutes later, but Leicester snatched a point late on, with Iheanacho setting up Vardy for an 85th minute equaliser.
While Iheanacho was a 62nd substitute for Boubakary Soumare, his compatriots Wilfred Ndidi and Ademola Lookman both started for Leicester, with the latter playing for 78 minutes.
At Goodison Park also on Saturday, Alex Iwobi played for 89 minutes before making way for Lewis Dobbin as Everton defeated Norwich City 2-0 to go fifth in the table.
Andros Townsend and Abdoulaye Doucoure scored for Everton in the win.
Super Eagles pair William Troost-Ekong and Emmanuel Dennis were starters for Watford as they drew 1-1 at home to Newcastle United.
Oghenekaro Etebo replaced Dennis in the 75th minute as Senegal forward Ismaila Sarr equalised for Watford.
In the other afternoon kick-off in the Premier League on Saturday, West Ham scored late to beat Leeds United at Elland Road.
