THE restaurant arm of the Kunle Afolayan Productions’ KAPHub has formally fully opened for business from today, October 15.
Located in the vast and impressive premises of the KAPHub on Ogundana Street off Allen Avenue, in Ikeja Lagos, the restaurant, which Yoruba name could be appropriated to “lavish Leisure” or “robust enjoyment/pleasure” specialises mostly in African cuisine choices.
“It is time for food and some good time, it is time to feel relaxed and taken kiaroff, and most of all it is time to treat your taste buds to something great,” stated the promo for the restaurant.
“Afefeyèyè restaurant and Bar is officially open to the public!!!” stated the head honcho for the KAPHub, Kunle Afolayan, the actor, director and film producer.
“This is a brand born out of pure love for food, culture and, a good time. In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, this brand offers a good range of meals and beverages that cater to different tastes,” the promo states.
It continues, “Afefeyèyè puts the Fun in Funky not only with its exquisite intercontinental and African dishes alongside drinks but with the sound of music soothing to the ears from the live band.
“You don’t need to think about it at all, it is said that laughter is brightest where food is best, and Afefeyèyè restaurant and Bar is coming through with nothing short of the best.”
The KAPHub, the dream project of the ace filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, opened formally to the pubic on September 30 and it houses multi facilities for artistic and cultural productions and expressions, including subsidiaries of the company such as Ire Clothing, Afefeyéyé Restaurant & Bar, Keke Bar, KAP Film and Television Academy, KAP Sound Stage Studio, and KAP Cinema.
