VICTOR Osimhen was once again the hero on Sunday, helping Napoli to keep intact their 100 percent start to the Serie A campaign.
The Nigeria international struck in the second half to give Napoli a hard-earned 1-0 victory over Torino, who had another Super Eagles star, Ola Aina, in their line-up.
After a difficult first half that ended goalless and most of a second half in which Torino had the better chances, Osimhen scored late at the Diego Maradona Stadium as Napoli won their eighth straight Serie A game this season.
Osimhen pounced on a rebound inside the Torino box to head the ball home for his fifth goal in seven Serie A appearances this season.
It was also his eighth goal in nine matches in all competitions this term.
Aina, who played the full game as a left wing-back, was playing his seventh Serie A game of the season.
While Napoli are clear on top of the Serie A table with 24 points from eight matches, Torino are 12th with eight points.
