NIGERIAN celebrities on Wednesday took to their social media pages to mark the one-year anniversary of the #EndSARS protest.
Wednesday, October 20, 2021 marked exactly one year after Nigerian youths rose to fight against police brutality in the country.
The popular slogan, ‘#EndSARS’ called for the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, a notorious unit of the Nigerian Police, with a long list of gruesome assaults.
While camped at the Lekki Toll Gate, innocent and unarmed protesters were confronted by the Nigerian Army.
To mark the day, celebrities took to their social media pages to pen different messages and share images of that day.
