DRIVEN with passion to inspire and enthrall listeners, rising Afrobeats and world music sensation Ebili Martins Chiadikaobi, professionally known as Martins Luv has comes through with his debut album entitled Lionsheart – a jam overload under the imprint of his signed label, Sufferings & Offerings Record.

The playlist, which is a seven tracker, the artiste said is for the strong of the heart and those fighting for their lives, as well as those who are unwavering and undefeated in their faith.

Speaking about his journey into music, the Imo State born artiste said, “I grew up with music all around me in a small village in Imo State. My father was a musician, so I will say music was in my DNA and home from the day I entered this world.”

Determined to become a powerful icon in the music industry, the budding artiste is set to encapsulate the senses of listeners with his rich and mesmerizing multi-genre musical compositions that range from Afro-Pop to Reggae and World music.

Martins Luv launched his music career with the debut single Chisom, which was released on February 13, 2019. He established his break into the industry with the expressive and moving singles, Diana and Mad OO.

The dynamic artiste further warmed his way in the heart of listeners with another banger titled Ukwu which featured fellow singer, 99Drizzy. In an effort to win more hearts with his brand of music, he released the multi-faceted single titled Fight For Love.

According to him Fight For Love talks about the tough dynamics of fighting for something you love, expressed beautifully through beats and lyricism. He added that the wider thematic inspired banger covers relatable sentiments and feelings while following one’s journey and dreams.

Fight For Love is a mixture of emotions and expressions that can be best described by the force of music itself,” he said.

If Fight For Love is any indication of him achieving his dream of becoming the biggest name in Africa in terms of music, we’d say he’s right on track as the Afrobeat-inspired pop song is packed with everything from clever lines to an addicting beat that refuses to leave the mind of the listener.

Swiftly rising the ranks in the music industry, Martins Luv remains diligently motivated to craft music that is for the soul, with Afro-Pop rhythms and beats that fully immerse the listeners in a magnetic new dimension.

Hence, prior to Lionheart release, his dropped Sweet Love and the wave making Fear Nobody, which currently occupies the number 2 spot on ‘ITUNES Nigeria Top 10’ and the album reaching Top 8 on the chart buster.

On what inspired the album title, the singer said, “The album title was created through my Igbo name, and it is for the strong of the heart and those fighting for their lives, as well as those who are unwavering and undefeated in their faith.”

Asked what he plans to achieve with the project, he said, “Greatness is all I pray for always. I really want the project to go worldwide; it’s my dream.”

Explaining the choice of his stage name – Martin Luv, the Lagos based artiste who started professional music at age 16, said “back then in school the name was given to me by my school friends because I was just that simple and lovely boy that year.”

Having worked with some established artistes including Nabania crooner, Mr. Flavour, and Ogbodo singer, Mr. Raw, as well as producers Spyryt Mix and Genesix, creating an amazing record requires dope Afro-pop beats with a piece of blunt.

Getting signed into Sufferings & Offerings Record was a turning point for you. How has this impacted your career?

“Honestly it has been a great one. I still have unreleased jams with my team that I can’t wait to share to the world. My first video hit 154,000 views on YouTube. My next target is millions of views.”

Lionheart is available on all major music and streaming platforms.
