THE Ministry of Youth and Sports Development is giving full support to the four Nigerians seeking elective positions in the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
The ITTF Congress will be held this weekend in Houston, Texas, United States of America with delegates from 220 countries in attendance.
The media department of the ministry says the Nigerians seeking the elective posts include Enitan Oshodi, who is vying to become the Vice-President of the global body, and Banji Oladapo, who is contesting for a place on the Board of Directors.
The others are Tikon Ishaka striving for an ITTF Committee spot and CP Anderson Bankole contesting for a position in the ITTF Commission.
The ministry says it is wishing the four Nigerians the best during the elections.It says the success of these Nigerians will be of immense benefit to table tennis in the country.
Former President of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation Oshodi is already the Deputy President of the African Table Tennis Federation.
