KADUNA: One killed, 10 injured as gas cylinder explodes in Unguwar Sanusi

A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD was killed while 10 others were injured when a gas cylinder exploded in Unguwar Sanusi Community on Monday.

According to Daily Trust, the incident happened around 6:15 pm when a gas repairer was connecting a cylinder in a house on Meyere Road.

The newspaper said that nine of the victims were children of the same family and the mother of the boy that died and the gas repairer.

 It was learnt that the children gathered to watch as the repairer tried to connect the cylinder after it was refilled. 

The cause of the explosion remained sketchy as of press time.
