SENEGAL have named their squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in January, with all 27 players based in Europe.
The Teranga Lions head coach Aliou Cisse revealed the 27-man squad on Friday.
The major names in the squad are Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, Liverpool forward Sadio Mane and Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly, who is nursing an injury.
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye and his club mate Abdou Diallo are also included, along with Crystal Palace star Cheick Kouyate.
Watford forward Idrissa Sarr, who is currently out with injury, AC Milan left-back Fode Ballo Toure and Leicester City midfielder Nampalys Mendy are also included.
The squad is made up of six players from English clubs, 10 from France, four from Italy, two each from Spain and Turkey, and one each from Germany, Belgium and Greece.
Senegal are in Group B alongside Guinea, Zimbabwe and Malawi.
The Terenga Lions, currently the top African team in the FIFA ranking, reached the AFCON final in 2002 and the last edition in 2019 but have never won the title.
