JUVENTUS have confirmed the purchase of Dusan Vlahovic from fellow Serie A club Fiorentina.

The striker was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal but he completed his switch to the Italian giants on Friday.

“Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with ACF Fiorentina S.r.l. for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Dušan Vlahović has been reached for a consideration of €70 million payable in three financial years, in addition to the solidarity contribution provided by FIFA regulations and additional costs of €11.6 million,” Juventus broke down the transfer in an official press release.

“In addition, bonuses up to a maximum of €10 milion are envisaged upon achievement of increasing sporting objectives. Juventus and the player have signed a contract of employment until 30 June 2026.”

Vlahovic, who clicked 22 on Friday, scored 20 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions, in the first half of the 2021/2022 season.

The Serbia international striker scored 41 goals in 64 appearances in his last two seasons at Fiorentina, whom he joined in 2018 from Partizan Belgrade.

He has netted seven times in 14 games for his country.

The towering striker will wear the No.7 jersey vacated by Cristiano Ronaldo.
