A YABA Magistrates’ Court in Lagos today ordered that a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) driver Andrew Nice be remanded for 30 days over his alleged involvement in the death of his passenger, Oluwabamise Ayanwole.
The order followed an application by police counsel Yetunde Cardoso.
The application was hinged on a four-count charge of alleged murder, sexual assault, misconduct and interference with a corpse.
Ayanwole, 22, was found dead on March 7 on Carter Bridge, Lagos Island. She last boarded Mr Nice’s vehicle on February 26.
