THE African Public Relations Association has appointed a new Coordinator Mrs Veronica Abuede. She takes over from Ms. Taiwo Tunkarimu who is moving on to other endeavors after serving the association meritoriously for 4years and 4months in that capacity.
Veronica a rounded and resourceful Administrator with tech-savvy abilities, holds a Bachelor Degree in Communication Technology from the National Open University of Nigeria, and post graduate diplomas in Electronics & Computer Engineering, Human Resources and Customer Relations.
She has over 13 years of work experience as an administrator and combines this with a demonstrable record in efficiently organizing and supervising corporate events & engagements. Other qualifications she possesses include Advanced Professional Training Certificates for Secretaries and Administrators from the Business Education Examinations Council (B.E.E.C) and the Manufacturing Association of Nigeria (M.A.N).
However, in order to ensure a seamless APRA Tanzania 2022, Taiwo will still remain an integral part of the APRA secretariat and organizing team. She works with the APRA Project Executive, Ms Debo Raimi and the local organizing team in Dar es Salam, Tanzania.
While welcoming Veronica on board and urging all members to do like wise, the Executive Council thanks Taiwo for her selfless service and passion in service.
She will be surely missed especially by members across the continent and beyond, but council is consoled by the fact that she has offered the same services on a voluntary basis when needed. Council wishes her well in her future endeavors
