PETER Olayinka and Collins Sor were both on target on Thursday night in a thrilling European six-goal thriller.

The two Nigerians thought they had done enough to give Slavia Prague an away victory in their UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final first leg clash at Feyenoord, but a flurry of late goals ensured the game ended 3-3.

Super Eagles Africa Cup of Nations star Olayinka, who captained the Czech side on Thursday night, got Slavia’s first goal of the night, making it 1-1 in the 41st minute after Luis Sinisterra had given the hosts the lead.

Sor made it 2-1 to the visiting Slavia in the 67th minute with a finish right on the goal line.

Another Nigerian, Super Eagles forward Cyril Dessers, then came on for Feyenoord and made an immediate impact.

Dessers assisted Marcos Senesi for Feyenoord’s equaliser in the 74th minute, 10 minutes after coming on, before Orkun Kokcu gave the hosts the lead just four minutes before the end of regulation time.

Slavia however refused to give up and they snatched the equaliser in the fifth minute of injury time through
Ibrahim Traore.

In the UEFA Europa League quarter-final, RB Leipzig fought back at home to hold Atalanta to a 1-1 draw in their first leg clash.
