GOVERNOR Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has pledged to support the presidential ambition of former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar.
Atiku emerged as the People’s Democratic Party’s flag bearer ahead of Wike.
After a meeting between the pair today in Port Harcourt, the governor said he will totally support the party’s candidate.
He recalled that he made a vow to the main opposition party that he will support whoever emerges from the PDP presidential primary.
“I made a vow to the PDP that i will support whoever emerges from the #PDPPresidentialPrimaries and i am not going to go back on my word. We cannot abandon the @OfficialPDPNig , we will be fully supporting H.E @atiku,” Wike wrote.
