SADIO Mane is on the verge of completing his move from Liverpool to Bayern Munich after undergoing his medical tests.

The Senegal forward arrived in Munich today and underwent a successful medical, and he was pictured afterwards in a Bayern shirt signing autographs outside the medical centre.

Liverpool and Bayern reached agreement on the deal last week after the English club accepted the German club’s offer of a €32m fee plus €9m in achievable add-ons.

Mane, 30, had one year left on his Liverpool contract but he said towards the end of last season that he was willing to take his talent elsewhere after six years at Anfield.

He has agreed a three-year deal with Bayern Munich and is expected to be formally presented to the club’s fans tomorrow.

Mane had a productive spell at Liverpool, scoring 120 goals and making 48 assists in 269 appearances.

He won the Premier League and UEFA Champions League titles at the club as well as the Club World Cup, the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup.

He scored 23 goals and assisted five others in 51 games last season as Liverpool won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, finished second in the Premier League and reached the Champions League final.

Mane is joining another successful club in Bayern Munich, who won the Champions League in 2020 and have won the last 10 German Bundesliga titles in a row and 32 overall.
