PRINCE William Arthur Philip Louis, the Duke of Cambridge and second in line to the British throne is marking his 40th birthday today, June 21, 2022. Members of the royal family took to their official Twitter pages to celebrate with him.
His father, the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall shared four photos of him with the caption, “Wishing The Duke of Cambridge a very happy 40th birthday!” The Queen, his grandmother, Elizabeth II also acknowledged the occasion and shared his accomplishments on her official Twitter account.
Prince William is the first son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, who was born on 21 June 1982 at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London. He graduated from St Andrew’s University in June 2005 with a second class upper in Master of Arts in Geography.
He attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst as an Officer Cadet, following university. Furthermore, he was commissioned as an Army Officer in December 2006 and joined the Household Cavalry (Blues and Royals) after completing his 44-week training course.
He got married to Miss Catherine Middleton on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London. They have three children together-Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
