ISAH Ndah has completed a move from Nigeria Professional Football League club Plateau United to Tanzania’s Azam, while Frank Sasere has teamed up with Vaduz of Liechtenstein.
Defensive midfielder Ndah passed his medical and agreed personal terms with Tanzanian top-flight side Azam before putting pen to paper to seal the deal yesterday.
While the transfer fee was not disclosed, it is understood the Nigerian will earn around $5,000 per month, along with other perks like a free car and free accommodation.
Plateau United are on course to finish second in the NPFL this season and earn a spot in next season’s CAF Champions League, while Azam finished third in the Tanzanian Premier League and will not feature in the continent’s biggest club competition.
On Sasere’s part, the former Sunshine Stars striker, who also played for Nigeria U-23s, joined Vaduz from Maltese club Hamrun Spartans today.
He signed a two-year contract with the Liechtenstein-based side who play in Switzerland’s second division.
The 24-year-old made 21 appearances for Hamrun Spartans last season in Malta, contributing six goals and one assist.
