VETERAN rapper, MI Abaga says he would be taking on a new stage name for his new album project launch in August.

He made this known today on his social media pages.

His post reads, “After over 15 years as Mister Incredible, I will be retiring the name “MI Abaga” and taking on a new name for my new project becuase my new album hard af, and it deserves a new name.”

According to the rapper, his final act as MI will be a performance at “The Vibe” on July 10, where he will be celebrating his legacy as Africa’s greatest rapper.

MI Abaga rose to prominence in 2006 in Jos, Nigeria with his popular song, ‘Crowd Mentality.’ He was the CEO of the record label, Chocolate City in 2015.

He announced his exit and launched his own label, Incredible Music in 2020.
