Super Eagles midfielder Aribo, who joined the Saints this summer, pulled one goal back for Southampton in the 72nd minute, 11 minutes after coming on with his side 2-0 down.
The Nigeria international danced around Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier to tap home to make it 2-1.
Kyle Walker-Peters completed the comeback in the 81st minute as Southampton claimed their first point of the season.
Rodrigo had scored in the 46th and 60th minutes to give Leeds United the 2-0 lead.
At the Emirates Stadium, Super Eagles forward Iheanacho came off the bench to set up Leicester City’s second goal for James Maddison in the 74th minute, but it was Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus who shone brightest.
