EFCC arrests ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ school owners, students

THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Benin Zonal Command has arrested two owners of internet fraud (Yahoo Yahoo) schools in Benin City, Edo State.

According to a statement released by the anti-graft agency, the ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ school owners identified as Osagie Ogiemwonyi and Onukwugho Favour were arrested on Tuesday alongside seven of their students.

The seven students were identified as Destiny Ohikwugbe, Chata Okoro, Ighodaro Omede, Ehigie Idemudia, Lawrence Daniel, Raymond Ogiemwonyi Oghosa and Henry Philip. They were arrested at their centres popularly known as HK by operatives of the Commission who acted on Intel.

Among items recovered from them include a Mercedes Benz GLK, Lexus 350, phones and laptops.
