Paul Onuachu continued his stunning form tonight by scoring twice in Genk’s 6-1 win over Westerlo in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.

The Nigeria international has now scored in each of his last four games after shaking off a slow start to the season.

The towering Super Eagles striker did not score in his first six appearances of the campaign but has now netted six goals in his last four games.

Tonight, Onuachu scored Genk’s third goal, set up by Ghanaian star Joseph Paintsil, and goal number four from the penalty spot, both in the first half.

Onuachu is getting back to his best after missing Genk’s first two games of the season through an adductor injury and coming off the bench in his first four appearances.

The 28-year-old made his first start on September 11 and began his goals spree in the 2-1 over KV Oostende on October 1.

He has since scored in games against Kortrijk, Leuven and Westerlo, all of which Genk won. Genk have indeed won all the six matches Onuachu has started this season and they are on top of the Belgian top flight table.

Also tonight, Eberechi Eze netted the opener as Crystal Palace defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 in their Premier League clash at Selhurst Park.

The goal was from a combination of players with Nigerian heritage as Eze was set up for a close range header by Michael Olise.

The strike was Eze’s second in his last three appearances after he went scoreless in his first seven games. He has had two assists.
