THE leadership and officers of the 2 Division of the Nigerian Army, Ibadan, have been applauded by the State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for always exhibiting a high sense of professionalism and competence in the fulfillment of their constitutional responsibilities.
Oyetola stated this while receiving the General Officer Commanding of the Division, Major General Aminu Chinade, who had paid him a courtesy visit at his office in Osogbo.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ismail Omipidan, obtained yesterday revealed Oyetola administration’s commitment to maintaining and sustaining the enviable status of Osun as the most peaceful state in the country.
The governor, therefore, sought the continued support of the Nigerian Army and other security agencies in keeping Osun safe.
While speaking, the General, applauded Oyetola for his support of the State’s security formation at all levels.
He appreciated the governor for his love and concern for the Nigerian Army’s commanders and soldiers ever since he took office and acknowledged the Oyetola administration for many of its accomplishments, particularly how it handled state security.
