THREE Boko Haram militants were reportedly killed by operation Hadin Kai troops in Borno State’s Gubio Local Government Area.
In a joint operation, the army and the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) reportedly stopped some terrorists who often terrorize commuters and loot them of their valuables on Friday night.
According to the sources, two of the terrorists were armed with AK-47 rifles, while the third one served as their rider.
A security analyst and counter-insurgency expert in the Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama, stated that the military were able to shoot down three militants during the confrontation.
It would be recalled that three farmers were killed while others were injured by criminal elements who have been ransacking farmlands in Gubio last Thursday.
