There will be a repeat of last season’s UEFA Champions League final as the teams involved have been drawn to face each other in this term’s round of 16.
The draw held today pitted defending champions Real Madrid against losing finalists Liverpool in the headline battle for the quarter-finals.
In another heavyweight tie, regular French champions Paris Saint-Germain will clash with Bayern Munich, who have won the last 10 German Bundesliga titles in a row.
Napoli, the in-form club of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, are to play German side Eintracht Frankfurt, who squeezed through to the round of 16 from a tight group.
It will be a return to Germany for Osimhen, who began his professional career at Wolfsburg.
