THE Nigerian stock market closed positive yesterday amidst buy-interests and sell-offs as bulls dominated proceedings, increasing the broad market by 89 basis points.
All-Share Index (ASI) appreciated by 0.89 per cent to close at 52,512.48 points, while Market Capitalization grew by N253 billion to close at N28.602 trillion.
The Year-to-Date (YtD) returns settled at 2.46 per cent, as the market has advanced by 463.63 basis points since the start of the year.
BERGER led the 36 gainers, while LASACO top the 12 losers at the end of the day’s session.
