THE vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Datti Baba-Ahmed says Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s comment on the naira swap is treasonable.
The Kaduna State Governor in a state broadcast yesterday claimed the old N1,000 and N500 are still legal tenders in the state, faulting President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive to re-introduce just the old N200 banknote as part of measures to curb the cash crunch in the country.
But speaking during a press conference in Abuja today, the LP vice presidential candidate faulted the governor’s comment, saying it amounts to treason and wonders why the presidency is silent
He argued that there is only one authority in Nigeria which is the President and wonders how a sub-national can counter the directive of the President.

Governor El-Rufai has the instrumentality of the law behind him and draws the support for his stand pronounced by the Supreme court of Nigeria, The highest court of the land and the LAW.
El-Rufai IS A HEAD OF A FEDERATING STATE AND OR UNIT IN THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA. THEREFORE, CAN CHALLENGE AND STAND UP TO WHATEVER ILLEGALITY THAT MAY ARISE AND OR ASSERTED BY PRESIDENT Buhari WHO IS NOT THE LAW OF THE LAND.
Whatever the pronouncement by the President of the country is not and cannot be above the pronouncement of the Supreme court and may not supersede it in any form.
Datti Baba-Ahmed IS A BUNKUM THAT NEEDS TO BE TUTORED AND EDUCATED ON CIVICS AND BOUQUET OF THE SOCIAL ENGINEERING AND OF THE COUNTRY, ESPECIALLY FOR THE DUNCE DOUGH HEAD WHO ASPIRED TO PRESIDE OVER THE AFFAIRS OF OUR COLLECTIVE DESTINY.
Datti Baba-Ahmed was only able to display fundamental defects of his mentality with INDADEQUACIES which make him unfit and undeserving of any position of authority in any human settings.
